Valerie Sutton
Valerie has been a stylist for over 30 years, since 2005 she has called Asheville home she's developed a loyal and friendly following with her clients. She has a passion and a commitment to the beauty industry, taking care of people and developing good friendships throughout her career. Her commitment to the industry has blossomed into opening Roots To Ends Salon. Creating easy to wear, beautiful hairstyles using Redken color and Neuma haircare products. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, and relaxing with friends and family.
Amanda Maciog
After earning her B.S. in Textiles from the University of Rhode Island & dabbling in the world of professional theatre costuming, Amanda decided to pursue her true passion, hairstyling. She graduated from Paul Mitchell the School in 2003 and is known for haircuts and colors that are versatile, yet easy to maintain. She has been an education specialist for Phyto Haircare and Neuma Haircare. When she is not playing with hair, she enjoys traveling, crafting, and hanging out with her insane (but wonderful) dogs.
Chuck Chiavaras
Chuck has joined us after closing his salon of 44 years. Ready to cut back a bit, but still having a passion for hair and a loyal, amazing clientele. Always smiling and happy to be doing what he loves!
Michelle Wanat
Roots To Ends welcomes Michelle Wanat! Michelle has been living in Asheville for 5 years now & is originally from the Chicago suburbs where she worked at a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon for 9 years. She loves to show her creativity & talent through your hair! Fifteen years experience has given Michelle the ability to listen to her clients' needs & is able to give great suggestions. She specializes in both cutting & coloring & enjoys wedding styles as well.
Brenda Holly
Originally from Pennsylvania, Brenda has been creating beautiful hairdos in Asheville since 1995. She specializes in women's cuts and colors. Brenda is also calm, cool and collected when a bear creeps up behind you at the salon. Brenda is currently booking her own appointments, you can reach her at (828) 774- 5477.
Michele Connolly
Michele & her family have recently relocated to the Asheville area from Florida. She graduated from the Summit Salon Academy in Tampa 2013, but has actually been working in the beauty industry for the past 14 years. Michele is passionate about hair & making her clients comfortable in her chair. She gives clients her full attention & recommends what is best for them. Her continuing education includes attending many in-salon classes with Redken, the Orlando hair show, and balayage class in Massachusetts. She uses Redken color & styling products. Michele especially loves short haircuts & highlighting. When she's not working behind the chair, she enjoys making pottery, being a mother, wife and playing with her furry friends.
